What’s New in October?
Spooky season is here, and we’re not just talking about Q4.
Before the costume and candy chaos hits, we have some ghoulishly good updates to share that will help Walmart and Home Depot suppliers bring lost revenue back from the dead. Bone up on what’s new below:
Walmart
Overage Invoice Visibility

Overages occur when Walmart receives more product than what the supplier invoices for on a specific purchase order. These overages are often caused by a retailer mix-up, where they mistakenly receive one POs goods under another PO. This can cause a shortage on one PO and an overage on another.
The good news: Using SupplierOne’s unpaid invoices report, we now provide visibility into most overage invoices earlier than ever — so early, in fact, that you can see some overage invoices in the app before they hit a check. Simply click on the “In Progress” tab to see overage PO’s where we’ve detected an overage invoice and updated the status to “invoiced.”
Unfortunately, Walmart’s unpaid invoices report isn’t always complete. From what we can tell, these gaps are likely tied to Walmart’s internal matching process. SupplyPike gives you full visibility into everything available in the Walmart report, updating automatically as their records change.

Post Audit Details Pages

Nothing inspires dread quite like a post audit — in part because their arrival comes without warning and often without much detail. Making matters more complicated, the dispute process can be a little hairy. For example, you must immediately contact the auditor directly and let them know if you’d like to dispute a claim. You typically have five days to research and dispute an audit, otherwise the money will be deducted from one or more checks. And while you can still dispute an audit after the money has been deducted, securing a favorable resolution will be more difficult.
To take some of the guesswork out of post audits, we’ve made it possible for all Walmart suppliers (regardless of whether you use our post audit recovery service) to access the details page that provides an in-depth look into each post audit you’ve received over the last two years, including:
- Claim codes and their amounts
- Audit period
- Check number and specific check line information
- Information and payment data related to post audit status
- Any relevant documents required for disputing or research, including backup documentation related to the audit sourced from High Radius
- Internal notes
Because post audits must be disputed via email, you can’t dispute them directly in the app. However, if you’d like to learn more about our risk-free post audit tracking and recovery service that can save you time and money while also reducing your existential dread, click here.
Home Depot
Paid Logic

The addition of paid logic to the Home Depot app is a small but mighty change. How will it change your workflow? Now you can accurately track how Home Depot is reconciling approved vs. paid deductions. Simply use the new checkline table on deduction and open invoice details to quickly locate a deduction’s payment status and use the new filtering options to organize your to-do list.
It’s worth noting that the app considers paid as a primary status. This means that if a deduction or open invoice has been paid back, its paid status supersedes its dispute status and it will appear only in the paid column on your dashboard. To learn how you can still see the underlying dispute status and even view all deductions or open invoices grouped by their dispute status only, this article provides step-by-step instructions.
